Keiana Fountaine was awarded the Tracy Press Student Athlete of the Month for Kimball High School in April 2016. Keiana's been with our program since the start (she was our only girl at Coach Pat's first Junior Olympic meet as an Ellis Coach) and it has been an incredible pleasure coaching her and seeing develop into one of the most dominant athletes in Central Valley swimming. The coaching staff have been incredibly impressed with her work ethic over the past season as she's been working to develop into a stronger IM swimmer, seeing best times in both the 100 Backstroke and 100 Breaststroke in recent meets (which in the past would have been events she'd normally avoid). Keiana's also developed into a strong team leader. She's got excellent attendance and an incredible drive to better both herself and her teammates everyday. And Just for fun, I looked up her results from the 2010 Junior Olympics. It's amazing to see just how far she has come.
