We've reached Level 3

 What this is:
The Club Recognition Program offers our club members a working blueprint for developing strong, stable, financially sound and athletically productive organizations.

It was designed over a 2 year period by USA Swimming's Club Development Committee. This program presents four levels of achievement across four component areas deemed critical to long-term club success. The program encourages clubs to establish organizational goals and to benchmark their progress toward those goals.

The Club Development Committee looked at many different factors that helped create "great" clubs. The committee grouped all of the factors into four major component areas: Business & Organizational Success, Parent & Volunteer Development, Coach Development & Education, and Athlete Development & Performance.

 What this means:
It's been amazing watching the club evolve in the past few years from an absolutely tiny group of 25 swimmers to a team of 150 strong over the winter. And as of January 29th,we have met our qualifications through USA Swimming to move from Level 0 to 1, to 2, to becoming a Level 3 swim club in the national club recognition program!

This is an incredible achievement for our club. In California (all LSC's) only 16 clubs are level 3 or level 4. That's out of 325 clubs! Or roughly 4.9%! In the US only 141 clubs are level 3, with 64 that are level 4. That's out of 3000 or so clubs, or roughly 6%!

And we did it in just 2 years!
